Depression and Anger Torn....

Depression and Anger Torn....

Ok, so 2 more stages have been torn. I think I will begin to play with piecing them together to see what I can come up with for inspiration. I still need to create an acceptance stage, but am holding off as I have recently thought that they all might work together as a form of acceptance. Unsure, we'll see where my thoughts take me as I move forward.

  1. You are a brave woman, Tiffany! I would love to know how you felt about the process of tearing up your paintings. I hope it was informative and meaningful for you, as I expect the "piecing together" part will be, as well. I really like your thought about the possibility that the combination/synthesis of the other stages forming something new and different (which will likely have both its positives and negatives) may serve to represent acceptance. You might also consider incorporating some "fresh"/untorn canvas as part of the acceptance stage, to represent the idea that there's wholeness, a future, a fresh outlook, and a new beginning on the other side of grief. Just a thought.
